During the early years of establishing the publication and itinerant ministry of Christian Witness Ministries it was always a step of faith by Philip, Kath Powell and the many volunteers of CWM. How the Lord has faithfully guided and opened many doors to support the work has been remarkable and a testament to the Lord’s faithfulness.

It was when the Publication, Contending Earnestly for the Faith really began to develop from around 1998 – 2007 that the demands for a skilled Graphics Designer and Printing Duo was needed. Through a dear friend of Maureen O’ Brien’s; CWM’s Administrator, Rachel and Mark Schroeder stepped forward and put their talents to work for the kingdom.

Rachel prepared the graphic work for all of the CWM resources and publications, in addition, Rachel offered her skills to develop the first CWM Fellowship website, with the basic framework of the Website still in operation today.

Rachel and Mark worked tirelessly in ensuring the work they both undertook was God honouring and timely, while sacrificially undercharging for the hours they spent to ensure every detail was addressed.

Rachel Schroeder, wife, friend, companion and servant of the cross has left a legacy, demonstrating her faith in the Lord Jesus Christ by her good works and service.

The book of James reminds us of our Faith mixed with Works:

JAMES 2:14-18

James 2:14 What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him?

James 2:15 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food,

James 2:16 and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit?

James 2:17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.

James 2:18 But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.

PSALMS 9:9-10

Psa 9:9 The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, A refuge in times of trouble.

Psa 9:10 And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; For You, LORD, have not forsaken those who seek You.
